Hi! I’m Alison Blomenberg.

I’m a software engineer that wrangles technology for nonprofits so they can focus on humans. I grew up in the Middle East and currently live in the United States, and when I’m not knee-deep in JavaScript, I like to read and write theological fantasy. Probably the best introduction to what I do and how I try to do it is my essay on merciful software engineering.

I blogged here extensively from 2010-2016, producing many interesting artifacts of my childhood interests and a lot of questionable jokes. If you are looking for an old Sheesania post, the Internet Archive probably has it. Or contact me and I would (probably) be happy to share.
